Our goal at Veterinary Internal Medicine and Allergy Specialists is to provide the very best veterinary care available. We use non-invasive diagnostics as much as possible including radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and colonoscopy, biopsies and small surgeries under local anesthesia, and teeth cleaning without general anesthesia.

Jennifer Chaitman, VMD, ACVIM (Internal Medicine) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997, did an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center and graduated from her residency in Small Animal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. She had a teaching position at Penn in 2000-2001 and started Veterinary Internal Medicine and Allergy Specialists in September 2001.

Jennifer has a chihuahua and maltese named Carmen and Sugar and a human son named Charles. She loves the ballet and donates her services to the animals of the dancers and staff at American Ballet Theater.

Eveline Han, VMD, ACVIM (Internal Medicine) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997, did an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center and graduated from her residency at the Animal Medical Center in 2000. She was a staff internist at the Animal Medical Center for 8 years where her duties included training interns and residents and diagnosing and treating cases referred by other veterinarians. She joined Veterinary Internal Medicine and Allergy Specialists in 2009. She has given continuing education lectures to various groups of veterinarians. She has published several medical articles and recently contributed to the 7th edition of the Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the most widely read veterinary medical textbook.

Anthony Pilny, DVM, ABVP (Avian) is a graduate of the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine. He did an internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa and a residency in Avian and Exotic Pet Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center. He shares his home with twenty-seven pet birds, a cat, a snake, and three turtles.
